\nRafael Cuartielles<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Rafael Cuartielles (Barcelona, 1932) es un aut\u00e9ntico maestro del arte contempor\u00e1neo. Su obra, entre otros matices, est\u00e1 llena de sensibilidad interior, de trazos esmerados, firmes y expresivos, de sensaciones puras, de ilusi\u00f3n, de dulzura crom\u00e1tica y de profundidad art\u00edstica. Sencillamente, su t\u00e9cnica pict\u00f3rica es exquisita.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Cuartielles comienza a tomar clases de pintura y dibujo al natural con Jacinto Oliv\u00e9 a la temprana edad de 12 a\u00f1os. M\u00e1s adelante, entra a estudiar en la Acad\u00e8mia Baixas, una de las instituciones barcelonesas m\u00e1s importantes de la postguerra para, posteriormente, ingresar en La Llotja, la Escuela de Artes y Oficios de Barcelona, donde estudia la t\u00e9cnica del dibujo.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

En 1962 obtiene una beca de la Diputaci\u00f3n de Barcelona para completar sus estudios art\u00edsticos en la Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de Par\u00eds. All\u00ed se mueve por los entornos m\u00e1s vanguardista de la \u00e9poca y vende toda su obra hasta el momento. M\u00e1s tarde, ya de vuelta en Barcelona, compagina su prol\u00edfica actividad art\u00edstica con la docencia en la Facultad de Bellas Artes de la Universidad de Barcelona (1979-1998).<\/p>\n

En lo referente a sus exposiciones, la trayectoria de Rafael resulta envidiable: realiz\u00f3 su primera exposici\u00f3n en 1952, habiendo expuesto en varias ocasiones en galer\u00edas de arte de Par\u00eds, Miami, Jap\u00f3n, Italia y Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n

Su obra ha sido valorada por multitud de cr\u00edticos reconocidos como Jos\u00e9 Vall\u00e9s Rovira, Francisco Gal\u00ed, Vicente Amiguet, Jos\u00e9 Arnau, Juan Luis Montaner, Pere Falc\u00f3, Josep Maresme, Luis Do\u00f1ate, etc.<\/p>\n

La obra de Rafael Cuartielles est\u00e1 representada en la Fundaci\u00f3n Rodr\u00edguez Amat, en el museo de Los EEUU, \u201cThe Florida Museum of Hispanic and Latin American Art\u201d, as\u00ed como en la Colecci\u00f3n de Arte del Banco de Sabadell.<\/p>\n

Podemos encontrar su nombre en el Diccionario \u201cR\u00e0fols\u201d de artistas contempor\u00e1neos de Catalu\u00f1a y Baleares.<\/p>\n

Gran parte de su obra es patrimonio de muchos entendidos y coleccionistas privados, tanto de Espa\u00f1a como del extranjero.<\/p>\n

Rafael Cuartielles (Barcelona, 1932) is a true master of contemporary art. His work is full of inner sensitivity, firm and expressive strokes of pure sensations. Full of illusion, and chromatic sweetness, full of artistic depth. His painting technique is simply exquisite.<\/p>\n

Cuartielles begins to take painting classes and life drawing with Jacinto Oliv\u00e9 at the age of 12 years. Later enrolled to study painting at the Acad\u00e8mia Baixas, one of the most important post-war Barcelona institutions. Later he enrolled in La Llotja, School of Arts and Crafts of Barcelona.<\/p>\n

In 1962 he obtained a scholarship from the Diputaci\u00f3 de Barcelona to complete his artistic studies in Paris.There he moves by the most avant-garde environments of the time and sells all of his work so far. Later, already back to Barcelona, Rafael combines his prolific artistic activity with teaching at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona (1979-1998).<\/p>\n

Rafael Cuartielles’s work is represented in the Rodriguez Amat Foundation, at the USA Museum “The Florida Museum of Hispanic and Latin American Art” and at the Banco de Sabadell Art Collection.<\/p>\n

We can find its name in the “R\u00e0fols” dictionary of contemporary artists of Catalonia and the Balearic Islands.<\/p>\n

Much of his work is the heritage of many connoisseurs and private collectors, both in Spain and abroad.<\/p>\n
